Ski Base Layers & Thermals

Ideally you need at least two sets of ski base layer thermals, so the second set can be in the wash. Ski base layers trap air to keep you warm when skiing but good quality ski thermals also wick moisture away from your skin. This moisture might otherwise cool down and freeze when you are inactive

(eg sitting on a chair lift or waiting for friends), making you cold and miserable. This is why it’s so important to choose good quality ski thermals made from either wool or specialist synthetic man made fibres. We recommend you avoid cotton base layers at all costs!
