Backpacks Size Guide

Choosing the right backpack size is key for comfort and performance. Ortovox backpacks come in different sizes to suit back length and body shape.

Regular Backpacks feature longer, wider shoulder straps and ergonomically shaped hip fins for a comfortable fit on standard back lengths and more voluminous upper bodies.

S-Backpacks are designed for women and men with shorter backs. They have shorter, thinner shoulder straps with a pronounced S-shape and shorter, conical hip fins, perfectly tailored for smaller frames.

Use these guidelines to select the backpack that matches your back length and ensures optimal support on every adventure.

To determine the back length, use a measuring tape to measure yourself from the top of the hip bone up to the 7th cervical vertebra (it clearly protrudes). The regular back system may be used for a back length from 42 cm to 50 cm.The regular back system may be used for a back length from 42 cm to 50 cm.* The short back system may be used for a back length from 36 cm to 44 cm.* S-BACKPACK: Shoulder straps are thinner and shorter and have a pronounced S-shape.
