About the Montane Fireball

When winter climbing it is vital to keep your core warm so you can perform to the best of your ability. With 60g of PrimaLoft Gold insulation the Fireball from Montane keeps you thermally regulated.

A nylon stretch fabric known as FEATHERLITE comprises the outer, the material has fantastic stretch properties so you don’t feel restricted. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating has been applied to enable the jacket to shed light rain during unexpected showers.

The Fireball uses the premium Primaloft Gold insulation, the synthetic insulator performs like like it’s natural counterpart, down, without being compromised when wet. Whilst providing exceptional warmth the insulation is highly breathable allowing sweat and moisture vapour to escape, reducing the detrementional impact of being clammy. The insulation is Bluesign certified, for peace of mind that during manufacturing environmental production standards have been upheld.

Designed for fast paced mountain activities the Fireball features a two harness compatible zippered hand pockets to accommodate the avid scrambler. To keep the weight low the hood is pre-elasticated without a wire brim and is designed to fit under a climbing helmet. Arms are articulated with stretch gussets to reduce the effects of lift on the hem and arms.
