Which hydration system is right for you?
It's time to think about hydration!
The European Food Safety Authority recommends that we should be drinking between 8-10 glasses (200ml) of water a day.
That number increases with the amount of exertion we put our bodies through. So if you're planning to go snowboarding or on a long hike anytime soon, make sure you've got sufficient reserves.
Packable hydration systems
Our best selling light and packable option has to be the Soft Bottles. Fill it up before a run and watch it reduce in size and weight as you drink from it to the point of being able to slip it in your pocket when its empty. A pretty impressive piece of kit for those of you who are big on weight saving.
Filtering
If your tap water doesn't taste quite right or if you're off travelling and want an additional piece of mind when drinking from the tap it's worth considering a Camelbak Groove FIltration Water Bottle. It's uber portable and filters water as you drink from it!
Plastic and Liner Free
Whilst all our plastic bottle choices come BPA free, many people prefer to make do without plastic all together. Cue Mizu and Klean Kanteen. Both are constructed out of food grade stainless steel which is free of harmful toxins.
Stainless steel does not retain tastes so if you're sticking some tasty electrolyte goodness into it or filling it with squash, the next time you put fresh water in it will not taste like a watered down version of your previous drink.
Mizu are an action sport orientated brand with sights on reducing plastic pollution and protecting the environment in which we all love to play. They have teamed up with big brands for collabs that give back to water orientated charities.
Klean Kanteen also offer insulated hot/cold bottle solutions for keeping food or drink heated or cool throughout the day. They also make kid's bottles so your children can reap the benefits of a toxin free bottle too. Klean Kanteen are part of the 1% for the planet charity whereby 1% of their annual turnover is reinvested into environmental charities.
Both of these brands are obviously super ethically minded so you can rest assured that you are getting a bottle that is not only good for the environment but also good for you. On top of that these bottles are super handy with a loop in the cap for easy carrying and transportation.
