The Wigwam 5 BTC tipi tent from Spatz (formerly Nigor) draws from the same design as the Bach WickUp series but uses a breathable technical-cotton construction to deliver a durable and spacious family tent crafted for destination camping at the highest quality.
The 5-person model features an asymmetric design for increased living space and comfort. The pole is positioned off-centre with the rear side for use as a sleeping compartment and a large vestibule area at the front for meal prep and socialising.
Built for 3-season excursions, the Wigwam uses a single-pole architecture with one TRX Eco-Duralumin centre pole. This helps keep the weight low and delivers exceptional stability in bad weather thanks to the sleek tipi shape. The Wigwam pitches inner-first with the fly pitching alone for use as a single-wall shelter for minimalist camping and garden gatherings.
Inside, there's room enough for 5 people and sleeping pads with single door access and 3 vents in the roof for airflow and moisture management. The vestibule is large enough for extra gear storage. With a peak height of 205 cm, the Wigwam 5 offers ample head room. The sleeping compartment features a double, panel/mesh door for added ventilation and privacy while keeping out insects. An optional zip vent in the lower rear wall delivers added airflow for comfort in hot weather.
The Wigwam features Spatz's high-quality breathable technical-cotton fabric in the fly and taped waterproof seams in the floor. BTC is a non-coated, breathable, water-repellent polyester/cotton fabric. Though heavier than their nylon/polyester counterparts, technical-cotton offers an incredibly durable and long-lasting construction. The fibres expand on contact with moisture to seal the fabric against water ingress. Technical Cotton is great at regulating temperature to ensure a fresh indoor climate helping you stay cool in warm weather, making it ideal for summer camping.
With its high wind stability and family-friendly design, the Wigwam BTC 5 is crafted for outdoor enthusiasts looking to invest in quality and comfort without compromising against changing weather conditions.
