About the Slingfin 2Lite Tent

Small in size yet deceptively roomy, the 2Lite tent is one of Slingfin's lightest backpacking shelters to date. With a trail weight of just over 1kg and a packed size of approx. 33 x 12.5 cm, the 2 Lite is perfectly crafted for fast-and-light outdoor trips - from wild camping to bikepacking and beyond.

The 2 Lite is designed to offer on-trail comfort while withstanding harsh weather conditions - all without incurring a weight penalty. It boasts an incredibly stable non-freestanding design and is one of the strongest sub-3 pound tents on the market. The simple 2-pole tunnel structure reduces pack weight to allow for greater liveability in features such as double doors and giant vestibules for added storage.

The inside offers ample room for two people with sleeping pads. An ergonomic footprint shape provides increased space at the torso and elbows to help make the tent feel much roomier for two people sharing.

Dual doors offer hassle-free access for both occupants with a vestibule on either side for gear storage. The 2 Lite's inner 15D nylon no-see-um mesh fabric is great for camping in warmer climates, aiding moisture management and protecting against bugs. In good weather, the doors can be rolled back to enjoy the view while the tops of the vestibules extend beyond the body of the tent to give you dry entry when raining.

An internal guyline system can also be utilised with the included guylines letting you tension the tent without venturing outside in bad weather. Short 12" pole segments come standard and allow the 2Lite to fit almost anywhere, making it perfect for bikepacking or any discipline in which a compact pack size is an important consideration.

Slingfin ensures only the finest grade fabrics and materials are used in their tents. An ultralight yet tough 10D nylon 66 ripstop flysheet optimises pack-weight and features a silicone treatment front and back to deliver reliable and long-lasting rain, mildew and UV protection. The groundsheet uses a fully taped 20D nylon ripstop with PE treatment to 1800mm HH. Poles are high-quality DAC Featherlite NSL.

Slingfin's versatile design offers a footprint (available separately) to boost protection to your tent's floor. The 2Lite can also be converted to a 2Lite Trek tent, saving you 113g by using your trekking poles as part of the pole structure. To do this you'll need the 2Lite to 2Lite Trek Conversion Kit (sold separately).
