At 35 years old Ben is an accomplished adventure photographer and all-round adventure sports athlete with a winter focus on backcountry snowboarding.

Absorbed by the uphill stride and downhill glide, Ben has dedicated his free time to moving through the mountains utilising the simplicity of human powered travel.

Documenting adventures with his girlfriend and adventure travel buddy, the fearless Barbara Thielman, the pair are keen to promote increased female participation in backcountry adventure sports.

Having visited over 40 countries each, the couple are determined to always have another adventure in the pipeline and to never sit still in their relentless pursuit of pow!
