About the Scarpa Mescalito Planet

Developed for technical approaches, the Mescalito is claimed by Scarpa to be the ideal choice for prolonged use for mountain guides and rangers.

The upper of the Mescalito Planet is obtained through a process of mechanical recycling of polyamide fibre production waste, which maintains the performance and properties of the original yarn. This virtuous process generates less waste, reducing C02 emissions and oil consumption.

An Autofit Collar ensures all-day comfort, reducing stress on the Achilles. Additionally, the Mescalito Planet features Scarpa’s Heel Tension System which utilises a TPU material to stabilise the heel whilst walking on rough terrain, thus avoiding torsional twists.

Lacing runs all the way down to the toe-box to allow for personal customizability. A rand encompasses the surrounding toe-box and heel of the upper to ensure protection during approach routes where sharp rocks could nick the upper suede.
