About the Salewa Ortles Rappel Master 60m
With a high breaking strength of over 15 kN, the innovative Ortles Rappel Master Cord from Salewa sets the standards high for alpine climbing and technical mountaineering.
Featuring a hybrid construction, this cord uses ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethene in the core – a material lighter and stronger than both Steel and Kevlar. The combination of Polyethene and Polyamide in the protective sheath provides exceptional strength and knotability.
The ideal lightweight solution for rappels or as an emergency rope, it can be kept compactly stored in its roll-top compression bag until required.
