and CL-2. A stands for Aluminium, AL stands for Aluminium Light, C stands for Composite and CL for Composite Light. The numbers 2 to 10 relate to the binding’s stiffness - with the higher numbers being stiffer. So, for a really stiff binding suitable for freeride look no further than the Ride A-10 snowboard binding. The biggest range of options comes in the 6 series - which are all, all-mountain medium stiffness bindings. Aluminium bindings are lighter whilst the composite ones are more affordable.
There are a few other bindings in Ride’s lineup of snowboard bindings, including the Ride Le Blanc Pro. This is Mikey LeBlanc's binding of choice, with the high back, chassis, straps, and graphics all hand picked by the legend himself. Mikey went for an A-9 Aluminium chassis.
Ride’s BC (or A-BC) bindings are specifically engineered for backcountry and splitboarding. They are lightweight and compatible with splitboard hardware like Voilé pucks. Ride’s K-1 and Micro snowboard bindings are for the kids.
