Rab Men's Torque Mountain Pants are perfectly crafted for your mountain-based activity of choice. Crafted from double weave Matrix™ softshell fabric, this garment is light, durable, and quick-drying.

The Torque is constructed from double weave Matrix™ softshell fabric, a lightweight, durable, quick-drying material with superb moisture management properties, generous stretch and easy packability. All this will give you trousers that protect you from wind, weather and the elements as you adventure on your mountain pursuits.

Built with articulated knees and a diamond crotch gusset, you'll have the freedom of movement and flexibility needed for mountaineering, climbing or multi-day trekking as hike, trek and scramble up the trail.

Trying these on for the first time was instantly satisfactory. Looking for a lightweight hill pant, reasonably snug fit with good flexibility I had found the answer. Now my go to trousers. Walking, relaxing and Tai Chi friendly, I have purchased a second pair as they will get used and abused. The comfortable stretchy fit around my waist requires no belt or braces One thing I would have liked is a 'map pocket' on the thigh, this is my preferred option when coaching navigation and hill walking. The small thigh pocket is great for car keys, nothing else. Phone slots into rear pocket, or it takes an OS map. Therefore I have a work around for easy map access. Early days but very pleased so far.
