This versatile shell jacket is designed for walking, hiking, and trekking in challenging weather year-round. It features durable fabric across the shoulders and sleeves for protection against the abrasion caused by backpack straps, while lighter fabric around the core enhances mobility and breathability, reducing weight and bulk.
This jacket effectively deflects wind, rain, sleet, and snow, while managing moisture to keep you comfortable on steep or demanding routes. It uses zoned 80D and 40D GORE-TEX Pro materials for optimal protection and breathability, with 100% GORE-TEX Pro seam tape throughout.
Key features include a 2-way adjustable, stowable hood with concealed internal cord locks, a wired peak for weather protection, and sleeve articulation for freedom of movement. It has three external pockets (one Napoleon and two hand pockets) with YKK® AquaGuard zips and 2-way fully venting pit zips. The centre front zip is a 2-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard zip with a fleece-lined chin guard for comfort.
The extended cuffs offer hook-and-loop adjustments for a secure fit with gloves or mitts, and the dual-sided rear hem adjustment is designed to be mitt-friendly for ease of use in various conditions.
