The Traverse 30 backpack is your best friend when it comes to long day/multi-day adventures. The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and broad hip belt distribute the weight evenly across the back, ensuring you stay comfortable and those backaches are a thing of the past (even when packing heavy items).
The large main compartment can be quickly accessed via a circumferential zipper. The Traverse 30 also has further compartments in the cover pocket and inside the backpack, ensuring your stuff not only stays secure but organised to the letter. As well as a slot pocket on the front of the bag, your drinking bottle is always close to hand thanks to the handy elastic side pockets.
The Traverse features a rain cover, so your bag and belongings stay nice and dry, along with a clever hiking pole fastening. As well as having hydration system compatibility, the Traverse 30 features a hip pocket and a holder for your sunglasses on the shoulder strap, so you can stay glare-free on sunnier days.
The icing on top of the cake for the Traverse 30 is the included Comfort Contact back system. The contact pads in Ortovox’s Alpine Series ensure a permanent circulation of air, and make the Traverse 30 a pleasure to wear during activities that involve lots of moving! The clue may be in the name, but the soft pads of the Comfort Contact system offer extremely high-end comfort, all day long.
Very comfortable with spacious pocket at top. 30 litre is good size as I can pack a camera and other gear. The zip access to the bag is also a plus as saves delving in from top.
