The Oakley MOD 7 Ski/Snowboard Helmet has been meticulously designed for those who demand the highest levels of performance and sets a new standard for visor helmets.
The Oakley MOD 7 features an integrated Prizm™ visor. Prizm™ is a revolution in lens optics built on decades of colour science research and their lenses enhance the visibility of snow contours, bumps, and textures, so you can have the clarity of vision and confidence to ride further and faster.
The visor itself is attached to the helmet using Visionary Secure-Connect technology for a seamless integrated design. Secure Connect uses magnets to secure the visor to the helmet whatever position it's in, whilst a Lens
Landing Zone allows you extra security when stowing the visor above your eyes like you would a pair of goggles. Meanwhile, innovative Lens-seal Adjustment allows you to customise the visor to sit more closely to your face and an Eject Button means you can withdraw the visor completely should you wish.
Equipped with innovative MIPS technology, the helmet reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection to prevent injury from angled impacts. It also features a hybrid-shell construction consisting of a blend of Duramatter Mix Shell and lightweight polycarbonate for enhanced lightweight protection that is strategically placed across the helmet. This is then applied over a tough and rigid EPS foam liner.
Oakley has included their ventilation technology in the MOD 7. It's a fully integrated goggle/helmet system that guarantees efficient venting and heat management. With perfectly aligned brim vents, the MOD 7 Pro aids cooling, allowing heat to escape from the goggles. This in turn reduces fogging, improving the clarity of vision with additional exhaust ports/adjustable vents at the back of the helmet.
A Boa fit system at the rear allows the helmet to be adjusted to deliver an exact fit. A Fidlock buckle on the chin strap means that the helmet can be easily clipped in or undone with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
