About the Marker Duke PT 13
The Duke PT 13 binding from Marker seamlessly blends the performance of the Griffon binding with the uphill comfort of a pin binding.
Featuring the Ride & Hike Toe, this binding offers downhill precision and release functionality, coupled with efficient uphill performance. Transitioning to walking mode is effortless – simply unlock and tilt the upper part forward to reveal the pin binding. For even lighter ascents, the upper jaw section can be removed and stowed away, saving 300g per foot. The Lock & Walk unit automatically secures the brakes and provides a 10° climbing aid.
In downhill mode, the front jaw section clicks back onto the base plate at four points, secured by Auto Quad Lock technology, ensuring a reliable connection. The latest Inter Pivot 3 Freeride Heel enhances power transmission, energy absorption, and step-in comfort.
With a low height of 24 mm, the binding allows for direct power transfer and quick edge changes, while the metal rail facilitates easy snow and ice removal. Every MARKER binding features a moveable AFD for precise release, unaffected by dirt, snow, or ice. Compatible with alpine, touring, and GripWalk boots, the Duke PT offers versatility for various skiing styles and terrains.
