Made with the finest quality materials, the Schoeller softshell material outer, elastic lining and is kept watertight by the waterproof GORE-TEX Performance membrane. The Gripex Tri-Traction Sole features a blend of two rubbers, each of which varies in softness to provide the traction you need when you need it on those wet trails! The Ultimate also features Mammut's base cage, Three TPU elements in the centre of the mid-sole which provide the shoe with greater longitudinal support for your arches, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.

Another feature is Mammut's patented Rolling Sole Concept®, which provides support and cushioning in key areas along with the footbed and encourages the natural rolling movement of the foot. This works to reduce fatigue and prevent twisting of the ankle.
