About the Lowa Renegade GTX Mid
The Renegade GTX is a women's favourite for day hiking, backpacking and short expeditions because of the phenomenal comfort, support and cushioning it offers.
The soft, nubuck leather upper is lined with Gore-Tex, making it not only flexible but fully waterproof. The Midsole uses a Lowa exclusive Monowrap technology to offer excellent shock absorption as well as excellent heel stability and overall support. The climate control footbed keeps feet at a comfortable temperature and improves breathability.
The Renegade GTX also features a robust but flexible Vibram sole, providing added support and absorbing impact on every step. The lacing system that Lowa have used allows you to customise the boot to suit your foot shape and helps reduce strain across the toes, especially when going downhill.

Comfortable from the start. Excellent fit.
I have worn these boots on a number of hikes now including Scafell Pike and Helvellyn. In general, they are soft, lightweight yet sturdy. However, for some reason, I'm getting bad blisters on my toes on each walk, even when my toes are protected with Moleskin paddings. My walking socks are new and good quality also. My boots are standard size and they fit perfectly and felt comfortable on a day when they arrived, so I'm not sure why those horrible blisters?
I’ve been wanting these boots for some time and I am so happy that I finally purchased them.
I used them in the Victorian high country over the weekend and they were super comfortable, my ankles felt stable and supported and my feet stayed dry even through creek crossings.
These are really comfortable boots right from the off I didn’t need to break them and done 10 miles straight off .
I have had to re- proof them a couple of times but I have yet to find a boot that stays waterproof for any length of time and I wear them every day walking at least 10 miles a day over the coastal path and through fields and woods .
I would definitely recommend these boots and will buy them again when I wear these ones out
I have purchased these boots before, and am pleased with the new pair. They are comfortable and supportive, without being too heavy. I wasn't sure about the colour but its more subtle than the pictures and I'm happy with it.
A good price for these days. It's amazing that when I first bought them, they were half the price they now are. Luckily I can afford them and wear them regularly because of their comfort.
Excellent boots, just replacing my previous pair, which lasted ten years with the odd new pair of laces. Great for outdoor adventures - comfortable and waterproof, but just smart enough for everyday wear as well.
Lightweight yet supportive and very comfortable. This is my second pair of renegades. The colour turned out to be a bit darker than I expected and certainly darker than my previous pair. Laces seem a bit shorter but that is no bad thing.

These boots are very comfortable from the very first outing. They are lightweight and extremely waterproof and have excellent grip over slippery surfaces. I’m really happy with my purchase and l look forward to covering many miles of hiking in them.
