About the HIT Head Impact Recognition Device

HIT Impact is a an innovative impact detection device that universally attaches onto any helmet detecting G-Force.

There are 1.7-3 million sport and recreation related concussions each year, only 10% of which result in loss of consciousness so many instances are unregistered or un recognised at the time. Using a unique algorithm to produce an easy to understand G-Force interpretation number allows the user to take a measured reading of Head Impact force via the HIT companion app.

Using a unique traffic light system the impact severity tracker indicates each users Set G-Force thresh hold which is customised in their profile creation. This visually aids users in recognising; Green - minimal, Yellow - Warning and Red - Large Threshold impacts recorded. In the instance of a large impact the user should be checked for any trauma symptoms alongside observational methods.

This system makes this product perfect for park riders and competition where hard landings can be a common occurrence! HIT allows coaches, parents and Individual riders to have a better understanding on the severity of impacts and when to step-in when one fall looks like any other and assess for trauma when it could otherwise be hard to spot. Crashes are however, not just limited to the park, Hit will record and track falls whilst out on the slopes and is just as valuable for the newest beginner to expert racers.
