The Garmont Women's Ascent GTX Hiking Boot is ideal for hiking and fast mountaineering, and also excels at low grade climbing and via ferrata. It is exceptionally lightweight, durable and fully waterproof, featuring a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane that optimises waterproofing and breathability for all-season comfort.

With a 1.8mm suede leather upper, the Ascent GTX is comfortable and abrasion resistant. The upper also features ballistic fabric inserts alongside a rubber toe and heel rand, offering extra protection against rocks and other mountain features. The lace-to-toe closure provides a close customisable fit, while the stretch-fabric anatomical tongue and asymmetric cuff offer unbeatable comfort and stability.

The Garmont Ascent GTX features a nylon FrameFlex Mid insole that provides stability and support. It works with the rubber midsole and outsole to increase shock absorption, and helps propel you forward in a natural motion.

Designed for mountain use, the Ascent GTX can be used with a semi-automatic crampon and has a PU crampon insert on the heel. The Vibram Nepal outsole utilises Vibram's Mont compound, which is one of their firmer compounds. It is incredibly durable and supportive, offering exceptional grip and maintaining performance in fluctuating temperatures.
