The General from Evolv is a slightly cambered climbing shoe designed for climbers looking for long-lasting protection during long days on the wall or crag. The General contains additional padding around the ankle and toes for that added coverage when navigating cracks of all shapes and sizes.
The General has been designed with a leather upper and a synthetic lining to allow that extra bit of stretch. The General is covered in Evolv's stiffest rubber, TRAX® XE, for high and aggressive toe hooks, whilst a Trax moulded toe patch supplies further protection and durability.
The shoe features a 3/4 length lace closure system that not only allows you to tie yourself in for a perfect fit but also leaves open the option of sinching the shoe up if you need extra power at the toes. The Variable Thickness Rand (VTR) also reduces pressure points across the foot.
Evolv's The General climbing shoe has a 1.6 full-length midsole that provides the technical support and propulsion you need through small features. This style and fit establish The General as a protective and durable shoe for climbers looking to move quickly on long routes.
