The compact HMS carabiner is extremely well-suited to belaying and rigging, with its perfect balance between size, strength, and weight. A personal locking carabiner means the weight and size are as important as strength, while the offset D carabiner feature improved handling and compatibility with thick ropes and slings. The keylock nose allows the HMS carabiner to achieve full strength without a gate notch. The HMS carabiner is constructed with I-Beam construction to reduce weight while retaining the strength of 24kN when closed.
