About the Deuter Futura 23

The Deuter Futura 23 is a fully featured hiking bag with plenty of compartments and a range of internal pockets for compartmentalisation and organisation of your gear.

The Futura 23 is constructed from a combination of Deuter fabrics and recycled raw materials. Deuter strive for sustainability and environmental protection with their fabrics and manufacturing processes, 50% of the yarn used is from recycled raw materials and the main material of the Futura series are Bluesign certified.

The Deuter Aircomfort System utilises a mesh backing that sits flush onto the back for reduced sweating by up to 25%. The elastic spring steel frame provides flexibility while retaining durability and stable tension allowing to effectively transfer weight into the hip belts for load bearing comfort. This semi geodesic frame provides the backing for Deuter’s patented 3-sided ventilation system.

The new Pivoting ActiveFit shoulder straps are flexible and automatically adapt to the shoulder's width and angle. Their anatomical S-shape follows the neck and shoulder contour and thus prevents chafing or pressure points. On top of that the Stabiliser shoulder strap tech allows the user to cinch the load forward for weight to be distributed parallel to the spinal cord for vertical load bearing comfort. This ensures the pack has an anatomically stable fit, paramount for all day comfort.

External pockets on the side provide easy access for water bottles or maps whilst compression straps allow the pack volume to be cinched down to increase stability. Trekking pole loops are available to facilitate the transportation of poles when they aren't in use. An integrated rain cover protects your gear from rain and mud and is housed comfortably under the bag and the pack is compatible with hydration systems up to 3 litres.
