About the Deuter Durascent 28 SL

Deuter’s Durascent 28 SL, is aimed towards those who require a low-weight pack with all the functionality of a traditional bag.

Incorporated into the design is Deuter’s AirAlpine system, which offers a balance of carrying comfort durability and function in terms of weight. Constructed with soft stripe pads which offer an optimal snug fit for the back to move flexibly. Along with the streamlined packsack, the load is always close to the body's centre of gravity which guarantees full control of the backpack.

Deuter's Slim line or Short Length packs are designed in collaboration with the female ambassadors to offer an improved tailored fit for the athletic female figure. The SL range also suits slender men and youth who have shorter torsos and slender frames.

The SL line shoulder straps provide an enhanced fit around the upper body, where shorter and narrower shoulder straps accommodate the shorter physique. Pressure points are reduced to combat any chafing whilst a contoured “S” shape conforms around sensitive areas and hugs the pack to the user. The tapered shape of the hip belt combined with anchor points that slant upwards further add to the tailoring of the SL line towards the female anatomy whilst ergonomic fins hug into the hip belts reducing the excess space between the user and the backpack.

On top of that, Durascent is lightweight with its waterproof construction. Perfectly designed for mountaineers who don't shy away from any mountain challenge and want to know their gear is safe and dry, no matter what the weather throws. Like conventional mid-sized backpacks, the Durascent 28 SL is a top-loading rucksack design, with attachment loops for storage of a helmet and mountaineering items like an ice axe.
