I use these for figure skating. Low profile is easily hidden under sleeves & gloves; the medium flex protects my wrists from the impact of falls whilst allowing flexibility. At first tbh I thought they were not rigid enough, but they have coped very well with impact, absorbing it rather than passing it up the arm as fully rigid splints do. As an older skater, I wouldn't skate without these!
