Low Roller Wheeled Snowboard Bag

I bought this over-the-fall line roller and honestly, I could not rate the bag highly enough, I think paying almost £100 more for a ski-specific bag is pointless. The 5cm depth difference was my only concern but actually, when I came to pack my skis there was nothing in it, do not waste your money on the fall line bag and just get this instead. I love it!

I bought this for my skis rather than snowboard in error as the Dakine Roller bag for skis is the Fall Line. This Low Roller was cheaper and I thought it wouldn’t be much different. It isnt. I can’t see much difference except in the depth of the bag to account for ski bindings. The bag offers some padding but you would definitely need to pad this out with clothing to protect the skis. It comes with a boot storage bag too and this works but padding will not be sufficient so again, wrap clothes around them to help protect the boots. Considering the cost in the sale was a little over £100, I’m happy. However, I’ve not actually used this in anger yet as it’s for a 2025 holiday so hopefully it will be perfect for the trip. So far so good. Skis, poles, gloves, boots, clothes can all fit inside and it has a lockable zip, good sized roller wheels, looks and feels robust, but…. It doesn’t have a full size rigid base as it’s a 1/3rd rigid, 2/3rds soft to allow for fold away storing. Great but offers no protection really for the 2/3rds. The Fall Line bag is the same so this must be a standard thing. I also love the colour and design on this so it’s a good 5* for now.

This bag came in a range of sizes. I went for one size up than what would be ideal for my board so that I could squeeze more gear and clothing in too. I was splitboard touring so have a few extra things, including the usual boots, helmet and clothing. Bag is robust. Wheels worked. And I was able to get everything in without zipping issues.

Quality product for the required needs of storage and travelling

Our old Dakine lasted 15 heavy usage years, each of four weeks skiing, I'm not sure if this new model made for boards will last as long but so far it feels good.

Good quality bag. Robust wheels and quality fabric. Hopefully a long service life.
