About the Burton Process Flying V

What is the Burton Process Flying V good for?

With an exaggerated tip and tail shape that raises the edges for a more forgiving, catch-free ride, you can take your freestyle ventures all over the mountain with this one. The difference between the standard Process and the Flying V is the user-friendly Flying V bend and softer flexing core, giving you a floatier, more easy-going ride. It has a slight setback stance which keeps you stable in powder and when floating on top of the soft stuff. You can also easily push it further back for an even more surfy ride in powder.

Who is the Burton Process Flying V good for?

If you’re a beginner to intermediate rider who wants something forgiving and super-playful, you can explore all over the whole mountain in freestyle bliss on the Process Flying V board.

When and where should the Burton Process Flying V be used?

Offering a loose and playful ride, with super-easy turn initiation, this board is forgiving everywhere, and beautifully surfy in the deep stuff. The easy-going Process Flying V can handle powder beautifully, enjoys the park, and performs with confidence anywhere you can think of.

How will some of the key features of the Burton Process Flying V enhance my experience?

The V-Bend Camber offers a rare blend of epic power, response, and forgiveness, while the Squeezebox Core Profiling boasts thicker, powerful core sections balanced with thinner, flexible ones for improved pop, stability, and board manipulation. Frostbite Edges extend beneath bindings, providing excellent edge hold on icy conditions and delivering a smooth, forgiving ride. The Pro-Tip reduces swing weight, making mobility easier with its tapered tip and tail.

Why choose the Burton Process Flying V?

With a relaxed versatility that's perfect for everyone from beginners to advanced riders who want to mix it up and push their riding further, the Process Flying V from Burton is pretty much up for anything.

Product Features

  • V-Bend Camber - Unmatched versatility from a magical blend of playful rocker zones for a catch-free, forgiving ride that's easy to press, with camber underfoot for power and response into the board
  • Dualzone EGD - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges in two continuous zones perpendicular to the rest of the wood core for consistent edge hold and added strength
  • Super Fly II 700G Core - Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, and strength, and reduce overall weight
  • Squeezebox Core Profiling - Burton's most versatile profile improves pop and performance. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energising the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable and easier to manipulate
  • Frostbite Edges - Edges that extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful and playful for a smooth, flowing and forgiving ride
  • Pro-Tip - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduce swing weight for easier mobility
  • Channel® Board Mount - Designed to help dial in the perfect stance and is compatible with all major bindings
  • Sintered Base - Durable and highly porous, providing added durability and wax absorption for great overall glide
  • Super Sap Epoxy - Bio-based resin with a carbon footprint reduced by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies
