Lock Laces
The idea for Lock Laces came to track athlete Eric Jackson in 1997. His shoelaces kept coming undone during training sessions so he used two bungee cords and two cord locks to create the first Lock Laces prototype. The retail potential for Lock Laces was immense and the brand went from strength to strength. In 2011, Eric joined forces with Frank Sutton from Postive Distribution LLC and they worked together to bring the brand to the international market.
Lock Laces offer benefits across all walks of life, and their applications are relevant both in and out of the sporting arena. They are popular with triathletes wanting to save valuable seconds during transition times, and with runners and athetes who are sick of their laces coming undone. Away from sport, Lock Laces are great for everyday use, turning your shoes into slip-ons, which is perfect for the fast pace of modern life.
