The ultralight Black Diamond 8.5 half or twin rope is designed to tackle ice, alpine and multi-pitch climbs excelling in any weather conditions and intended to be used in pairs.
Constructed with a dry treatment on both the sheath and core of the rope, the 8.5 Dry rope is protected against the weather from the inside out, complemented by a burly sheath that utilizes a 2x2 weave construction to withstand everyday use - making it a great choice for your wet, cold winter mission or your dusty, gritty summer project.
The Black Diamond 8.5 Dry rope will withstand everyday use with ease, being purpose-built to balance both durability and great handling, the rope is not too stiff and not too soft, giving you a great feeling rope that knots easily, feeds through your belay device with ease, yet holds up to a barrage of use.
Please note that half & twin ropes must be used in pairs - Do not use as a single rope.
