The Trios Freebird is an extendable ski pole and is similar to the Duos Freebird but with an added section of titanate shaft for added strength and durability. Combined with its versatile collapsible shaft and super-comfortable grip, this is the ultimate ski-touring, mountaineering, and expedition pole from Black Crows!

The telescopic shaft is adjustable so it can be made to best suit your style for whatever terrain you come across through the day, and can also be minimized so the poles are easier to transport and carry. The upper and midsection of the pole is crafted from stiff, light, carbon tubes that offer great resistance to impact and use and the shaft is finished at the bottom with an especially resistant 7075 aluminum alloy, 18mm in diameter.

The power lock system which locks the two segments together has been tested in extreme conditions and keeps the poles strong but still light. Their overall vertical strength has been tested to over 100kg so these poles will stay intact no matter what you or the mountain can hurl at them!

A long grip means grasping the poles is comfortable, and to give extra support and prevent them from slipping away, an ergonomic wrist strap has been added. This strap is of a similar design to those used by the pros in world cup races.
