Bataleon Snowboards

Bataleon snowboards are famous for Triple Base Technology (3BT). The base of a Bataleon snowboard has 3 areas; the centre of the board (running longitudinally from tip to tail) is flat and either side is upturned, with the upturn gradually increasing towards the edges. Bataleon’s 3BT makes their snowboards

more forgiving, versatile and playful,.making them easier to ride, especially for beginners or intermediate riders. The design allows smoother transitions from edge to edge and makes the board less likely to catch an edge, reducing the likelihood of a face plant! The 3BT design also helps the nose of the snowboard float better in powder, making it easier to ride in deep snow compared to traditional snowboards. Different versions of 3BT exist, each designed for specific types of snowboarding (freestyle, all-mountain, freeride, etc.). The Baleon Goliath is a best seller for Bataleon, being an all mountain snowboard, suitable for intermediate or advanced riders. The Bataleon Evil Twin is a freestyle snowboard for park riders; its a true twin and good for jumps and jibs. The Bataleon Boss is a high performance freestyle and park board with a stiffer flex than the more buttery Evil Twin. The Bataleon Fun.Kink is more of an all mountain freestyle snowboard and well suited to beginners or intermediates - as is the Bataleon Whatever which is a pure all mountain go anywhere do anything sort of snowboard. The Bataleon Party Wave is an all mountain / powder snowboard, with a short length and wide waist for playful carving in pow.
