About the Bach WickiUp 5

The WickiUp 5 tipi tent from Bach (formerly Nigor) gives you a premium quality family shelter that's perfect for car camping though easy to divide among a group of hikers without having to worry about pack weight.

Unlike the smaller WickiUps, the 5-person model features an asymmetric design for increased living space and comfort. The pole is positioned off-centre with the rear side for use as a sleeping area and a large vestibule area on the front for meal prep and gear storage.

Built for 3-season excursions, the WickiUp uses a single-pole architecture with one TRX Eco-Duralumin centre pole. This helps keep the weight low and delivers exceptional stability in bad weather thanks to the sleek tipi shape. The WickiUp pitches inner-first with the fly pitching alone for use as a minimalist shelter where conditions allow.

Inside, there's room enough for 5 people with single door access and 3 vents in the roof for airflow and moisture management. The vestibule is large enough for extra gear storage. With a peak height of 205 cm, the Wicki Up 5 offers ample headroom.

Built for fast-and-light camping, the WickiUp features GorLyn 20 siliconised ripstop fabric. This has been specially constructed for Bach's lightweight trekking range and uses high-tenacity nylon 6.6, with a yarn thickness of 20 denier which has a higher tensile strength than comparable shelter materials.

The WickiUp 5 features a pure silicone waterproofing with 2 base coatings in the backside and 1 coating on the front to provide storm level waterproofing to 3000mm HH (see below for further benefits of Gorlyn fabrics).
