The PioPio Solo tent from Bach (formerly Nigor) gives you an incredibly lightweight, single-hoop tunnel shelter built for fast-moving trekking and adventure racing.
The ultralight design features a packed weight of approx. 1000g with a 48 x 12 cm packed size that easily attaches to a bike pannier or backpack for fast-and-light cycle tours.
Built for 3-season camping, the PioPio uses single pole architecture with one TRX Eco-Duralumin Airlite Aluminium pole. The steep pole angle offers generous headroom with short corner poles for optimised floor space.
The PioPio Solo pitches inner-first with a versatile design that can stand alone for use in good weather. An additional footprint (sold separately) gives you increased ground protection.
Inside, there's room enough for one person with single door access and vents in the rainfly for airflow and moisture management. A small side vestibule provides space for stowing packs and muddy footwear.
The PioPio inner tent is constructed entirely of 15D breathable ripstop nylon with no-see-um mesh to maximize airflow inside while keeping even the smallest bugs outside.
Built for fast-and-light camping and bikepacking, the PioPio features GorLyn siliconised 20 rainfly fabric. This has been specially constructed for Bach's lightweight range and uses high-tenacity nylon 6.6, with a yarn thickness of 20 denier which has a higher tensile strength than comparable materials.
The PioPio features a pure silicone waterproofing with 2 base coatings on the backside and 1 coating on the front to provide storm level waterproofing to 3000mm HH (see below for further benefits of Gorlyn fabrics).
With a decent amount of floor space for a tent of its class and trail-friendly design, the Pio Pio is crafted for outdoor enthusiasts looking for the lightest of pack weights and comfort without compromise against changing weather conditions.
